Trinity Hill’s Gimblett Gravels Chardonnay is a benchmark expression of Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay, hand-harvested from the renowned Gimblett Gravels sub-region. The unique alluvial gravel soils, laid down by an ancient course of the Ngaruroro River, drive low yields and concentrated, mineral-driven fruit.
100% Chardonnay, hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in 500-litre French oak puncheons (40% new) and matured on lees with regular bâtonnage to add complexity and texture.
