2021 Vintage — Salento IGT, Puglia

The “F” in the name marks San Marzano’s distinctive Metal Label range — a contemporary expression of southern Italy’s signature grape, Negroamaro. The fruit comes from estate-managed vineyards in the Salento peninsula, the heel of Italy’s boot, where the warm Mediterranean climate is tempered by sea breezes from both the Ionian and Adriatic.

100% Negroamaro, hand-harvested at optimal ripeness. Vinified in stainless steel to preserve the variety’s natural fruit character, followed by partial ageing in oak barriques to add structure and complexity. The result is a polished, modern interpretation of Negroamaro — generous and approachable while retaining the variety’s classic Mediterranean herbal lift.
