Terminum is Cantina Tramin’s prestige late harvest Gewürztraminer — a wine named after the ancient Roman settlement of Termeno, the village where the Gewürztraminer grape is believed to have originated. Made by winemaker Willi Stürz from hand-selected, late-harvested fruit grown in the sun-drenched vineyards of South Tyrol, it is among Italy’s most celebrated dessert wines, combining the opulent aromatic character of the variety with the freshness and mineral precision that defines Alto Adige at its finest.
Grapes are harvested at full overripeness to concentrate natural sugars and aromatics. Fermentation is carefully controlled to retain sweetness and preserve the wine’s extraordinary aromatic complexity. With just 10% alcohol and brilliant natural acidity providing balance and lift, Terminum is rich without being heavy — a wine of great elegance and length. The 2023 vintage produced white wines of vivid freshness and intense aromatic character, and Terminum is no exception.
