Bright ruby. Perfumed aromas of red cherry, wild raspberry and pomegranate over dried herbs, forest floor and a touch of gentle spice. Medium-bodied, silky and beautifully balanced, with fresh Oregon acidity, fine chalky tannins and a savoury, lingering finish. Textbook cool-climate Pinot — pair with roast duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, or a cheese board leaning towards Brie and aged Gouda.

2023 Vintage — Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA

La Crema is a specialist West-Coast cool-climate producer, part of the Jackson Family Wines stable. Founded in 1979 and now sourcing widely from Sonoma, Monterey and — for this bottling — Oregon’s Willamette Valley, La Crema built its reputation on serious, food-friendly Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.

The ‘Willamette Valley Pinot Noir’ is sourced from cooler, higher-elevation vineyards in the Willamette, hand-harvested, fermented in small open-top tanks with native yeasts (partial whole-cluster), then aged in French oak (a portion new) for around 10 months.
