2023 Vintage — Ribera del Duero DO, Spain
Aalto was founded in 1999 by Mariano García — 30-year winemaker at Vega Sicilia — and Javier Zaccagnini. From day one the project has been defined by old, high-altitude Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) vineyards across the Ribera del Duero, meticulously assembled and matured to Vega-standard rigour.
100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from vines ranging 40–100+ years old. Fermented in oak vats with native yeasts, then aged for around 20 months in French oak (a portion new) before further bottle ageing prior to release.
