Refined nose of white peach, lemon curd, oatmeal, toasted hazelnut and struck-flint. The palate is taut and finely textured, with bright citric acidity, layered creamy lees and savoury oak in support, leading to a long, mineral, savoury finish.

Nine Yards is Jordan Estate’s flagship Chardonnay, sourced from a single high-altitude north-facing block on the family farm above Stellenbosch Kloof. Decomposed-granite soils and cool Atlantic-influenced breezes give the wine its hallmark precision, drive and ageing potential — a benchmark Cape Chardonnay.
100% Chardonnay, hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in French oak barriques (a portion new). Matured on lees with regular bâtonnage for around ten months before bottling.
