Yalumba’s flagship red since 1962, The Signature is a Barossa blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, each release named in honour of a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the winery. It is matured around two years in French, Hungarian and American oak crafted at Yalumba’s own on-site cooperage.
The 2014 is now mature and generous — cassis and dark plum wrapped in cedar, dark chocolate, leather and sweet spice, carried by the fine structure and length that let this wine age so gracefully. A classic Barossa Cabernet-Shiraz drinking beautifully.
