Pale gold. Perfumed nose of ripe pear, quince and lemon curd over vanilla, toasted almond and a subtle chalky mineral lift. Full-bodied, textural and creamy from the lees, but held by fresh Rioja acidity and a long, gently oaked, salted-honey finish. Pair with roast chicken, buttery seafood, hard cheeses, or slow-cooked white-meat dishes.

Bodegas Izadi, founded in 1987 in the Rioja Alavesa village of Villabuena, is one of modern Rioja’s most respected producers under the winemaking direction of Lauren Rosillo. The house style is precise, food-friendly and terroir-driven — a modern take on classical Rioja.
The ‘Selección Blanco’ is Izadi’s flagship white — a Viura-led blend from old-vine parcels on chalky, well-drained slopes, whole-bunch pressed and fermented in French oak (barrel-select, a portion new), then aged on the fine lees for texture and depth. A serious, cellar-worthy white Rioja rather than a fruit-forward one.
