El Enemigo is Alejandro Vigil’s cult Mendoza project — a Malbec (with a splash of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) aged in French oak under a veil of flor, giving it real complexity and savoury depth.
Full-bodied and velvety: ripe blackberry, dark plum and morello cherry with mocha, graphite, liquorice and violet, smooth tannins and lively acidity through a long, savoury, oak-spiced finish.
