Thelema Vin de Hel Muscat Late Harvest 2024 (37.5cl)

£15.95 incl. VAT

6 in stock

Bright amber with a lifted nose of orange marmalade, honeysuckle, dried apricot and rose petal. The palate is sweet but never cloying — vibrant citrus acidity balances honeyed richness, with layers of preserved peach, marmalade and Muscat spice. A gorgeous partner for blue cheese, tarte tatin, or simply after dinner.

2024 Vintage — Stellenbosch, South Africa (37.5cl half bottle)

“Vin de Hel” — literally “wine of hell” — is Thelema’s playful nod to the intense, honeyed richness of their late-harvest Muscat. Made from Muscat de Frontignan grapes grown on the upper slopes of Simonsberg-Stellenbosch, the fruit is left on the vine well beyond conventional harvest, allowing it to concentrate into raisined bunches with layered aromatics and natural sweetness.

Hand-harvested in late autumn, the juice is fermented slowly at cool temperatures to preserve the perfumed Muscat character. A short period in older oak adds texture without covering the fruit. Bottled in 37.5cl format — the classic dessert wine size, ideal for after-dinner sharing.
