TASTING NOTES
Opaque purple red colour. Bold plums, blackberries, mulberries, rich vanilla, layers of smoke, and roasted nut the nose. Followed by a palate packed with plums, cherries, black figs, pomegranate, dark chocolate, blackberries and spicy oak, The beautifully integrated plush, creamy tannins teams with satisfying acidity resulting in a wonderfully balanced wine with and a long finish, promising a great maturation potential.

Vintage & Harvest Notes (2020)
Growing Conditions: The season was characterized by sufficient winter rains, followed by a dry, moderate summer, leading to early ripening. The summer was warm, but without significant heatwaves, and was accompanied by cool nights, allowing for excellent retention of acidity.
Harvest & Yield: Grapes were harvested earlier than normal (7-10 days early). While yields were lower than the previous five years, they were higher than the drought-affected 2019, with the smaller berry sizes producing intense flavor and aroma.
Harvest Condition: The grapes were very healthy with no rot observed.

Winemaking & Maturation
Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Fermentation: The grapes were fermented in open-top concrete fermenters at 29°C, with manual punch-downs of the cap every 2 hours.
Skin Contact: The juice was drawn off the skins after 5 days.
Maturation: The wine was matured for 24 months in 50% new and 50% second-fill 225L French Nevers oak barrels
