Viticulture
This wine, bearing the name of its creator, is the matriarch of the winery. Since the 1998 harvest the winery has produced this wine from some of the oldest vines in the vineyards, which was previously used forthe Crianzas and Reservas.
Winemaking
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with subsequent ageing in new and old French and American oak barrels.
